Wife of White House Policeman and Mother of Nine Children. Mrs. Sally M. Curtis, wife of William H. Curtis, a policeman stationed at the White House, died early this morning at the George Washington University Hospital from typhoid fever, after an illness of twenty days. Mr. Curtis has been stationed at the White House for about fourteen years. The family home is at 1231 H. Street Northeast. Besides her husband, Mrs. Curtis is survived by nine children, four boys and five girls.⁵
