Franklin “Frank” Delano Moses, 55, of Mauldin, S.C., died Saturday, Feb. 27, 1999. Born in Knoxville, he was a son of the late William Jennings Moses and Erma Haynie Moses McCall. He was formerly associated with Fairway Ford and Burgin Motors and was owner of Sunbelt Sales and Delivery. A member of the First Baptist Church of Athens, he was a Mason and a Shriner and served in the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Mary Milam Moses of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Jeff McGregor of Mountville, S.C; one son, Del Moses of Mauldin, S.C; one sister, Martha Nelson of Athens; two brothers, Jim Moses of Simpsonville, S.C., and Jerry Moses of Athens; and one grandson, Tyler Wayne McGregor. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Lisbon Presbyterian Church in Mountville, S.C., with the Rev. Hampton Hunter and the Rev. Steve Mayes officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.1

Survivors include his wife, Katherine Ann Nelson; three sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Mollie Santaniello of Bradenton, Fla., William “Terry” and Lisa Nelson of Athens, and Nick and Amy Santaniello of Medina; two daughters and one son-in-law, Cheryl Wallace of Athens and Patsy; and Robert Ladd of Athens; three sisters, Martha Beason of Kingston, Wilma Shephard of Florida, and Faye Hutton of Athens; six grandchildren, Tiffany Graham, Brandon Ladd, T.J. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
Survivors include six sons, Page, Ruel Lee, and Gene Moore Curtis, all of Athens, William M. (Bill) Curtis of Etowah, Calvin Curtis of San Leandro, California; three daughters, Mrs. Bud (Evelyn) Dodd and Mrs. Harry (Myrtle) Williams, both of Athens, and Mrs. Don (Helen) Robinson of Etowah; 42 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; two brothers, Dave Brannon of Etowah and Dink Brannon of Akron, Ohio; five sisters, Mrs. Inez Burggess and Mrs. Ethel Jump, both of Kentucky, Mrs. Carrie Lemons of Monterrey, Tennessee, Mrs. Beulah Wilson of Cleveland, Ohio, Miss Loverine Brannon of Knoxville.1
