Enjoyed giving service to others and had a passion for fishing. Survived by son, Larry, Grand Junction, Colorado; brothers and sisters, Vernon Brundage, Kearns; Gale Brundage, Oregon; Carol Hofheins, Midvale; Judy Overall, South Jordan; Kay Canham, Salt Lake City; Daniel Brundage, Salt Lake City; Susan McCleery, Murray; grandchildren, Denise and LRay; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two brothers, Burnell and Jerry; one sister, Afton Devore. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 28, 1996 at 11 a.m. at the Redwood Mortuary Chapel, 6500 So. Redwood Rd. A viewing will be held Sunday from 5-7 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to the service. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.5

Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, "Doc", passed away peacefully on June 29, 2009 surrounded by his family at Draper Rehabilitation and Care Center in Draper. "Doc" was born March 15, 1926 in Salt Lake City to Walter and Jewel Brundage. He served proudly in the US Navy during World War II. "Doc" married Ella Mae Price on August 18, 1948; later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple. "Doc" loved his time fishing at Scofield Reservoir. He was a life-long upholsterer, running his own business and later taught his trade in the Granite School District. His true enjoyment came from being a father and grandfather. Survived by his wife; children, DeWayne (Kit), Craig, Lori (John) McDonnell, Michelle Healy, Michael; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Daniel (Carol) and sisters, Kay (Gary) Canham, Judy (Don) Overall, Susie (Roy) McCleary. Preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and four brothers.4

He then volunteered at Prices Fort in South Carolina and served about four weeks. He was appointed Lieutenant and served about three months in Captain William Young's Company again.1
