Prominent Four Mile Resident Passes Away. F. A. Hall, well known and highly respected citizen of the Four-Mile neighborhood, died at his home on Highland avenue at 10 minutes past 9 o'clock Monday night from neuritis of the heart after a brief illness. Although Mr. Hall had been in failing health for seveal months his condition did not become alarming until a few hours before his death. He was able to carry on his usual work until noon on Monday, although at about 11 o'clock he complained of illness and a physician was summoned to attend him. He continued to become worse during the afternoon and passed away shortly after dark. The end came suddenly and unexpectedly. Mr. Hall was born at Marion, North Carolina, April 25, 1857, and was aged 69 years and one month. He came to Colorado in 1894 and settled on Upper Beaver creek, where he was engaged in ranching and cattle raising for many years. Fifteen years later he removed with his family to Four Mile district where he lived until his death. Mr. Hall is survived by his wife and 10 children, all living in Fremont county. Two children of a family of 12 are dead. He also has two brothers residing in this county, David Hall and M. E. Hall. A sister, Mrs. Browning, lives in St. Anthony Idaho. The funeral will take place from the family home at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and will be conducted by Rev. J. Willis Hamblin, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of Cañon City. Burial will be in the cemetery on Upper Beaver Creek.2
