Howard officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Heart Fund. Lambert was born Oct. 18, 1912, in Edwards County, the son of James and Hulda (Curtis) Lambert. He married Birdie Curtis Dec. 2, 1934, in St. Louis, Mo. He was a farmer. He was a member of the Simpson United Methodist Church and was also a member of the Edwards County Farm Bureau. He is survived by his wife, of Albion; two sons, Stephen Lambert of Upland, Calif. and Terry Lambert of Albion; two daughters, Ruth Gamer of Lewisville, Texas and Virginia Walker of St. Joseph; a daughter-in-law, Janet Lambert of Bone Gap; two sisters, Pauline Johnson of Phoenix, Ariz. and Nadine Briggs of Albion; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Lambert was preceded in death by his parents, a son and a sister.2
