Eric attended Perry Public Schools and graduated in June 1989. Following high school, he attended a few universities during the years he was earning his bachelor's degree, which he completed at Western Michigan University in 1994. Eric loved to travel and everywhere he went he met people who became friends that he continued to stay in touch with. He moved to Chicago following his graduation and in 2000, he married Anne Petti. He later earned his MBA at South Carolina. A job opportunity took him to Sao Paulo, Brazil, where he met many wonderful friends and lived for the past several years. He returned to Perry at the end of December 2014. Eric was fascinated with flight, loved music and had a life-long love for learning. He also enjoyed basketball, baseball, politics and good conversation. Eric is survived by his father Gaylord Smith; his sister Gayle (Paul) Hughes; nephew John Hughes: niece Kate Hughes, and several aunts and uncles and many cousins who miss him very much. There are friends from all over the world who miss him greatly, too. There will be a celebration of Eric's life at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 13, at the D'Mar Conference Center, 1488 N. M-52 in Owosso.3 |

He was born November 16, 1936 in Niles MI the son of Raymond and Ellen (Hill) Wagoner. Dick received his Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture from Purdue University and was Manager of the Landmark Store in Springfield for many years. Dick's love for his family, his community and his career are his legacy of a well lived life. He will be missed at Emery Chapel United Methodist Church where he served as Treasurer, was a member of the Pastor Parish Relations Committee as well as helping to cultivate the Emery Chapel Children's Foundation. Dick was a passionate fisherman and loved his Boilermakers! He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nora Jean Wagoner; his children Shaun (Teri) Wagoner, Thaah (Aaron) Young, Erin (Don) Cook and Beth Ann Hutchison; sister Joyce Dunn; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 1:00 PM, at Emery Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Kymberly James officiating. At Dick's request there will be no viewing. The family will receive visitors starting at 12:00 PM at Emery Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Emery Chapel Children's Foundation. |

John was born the son of Raymond and Ellen (Hill) Wagoner on December 11, 1944 in Warsaw, Indiana. He grew up in Bourbon and graduated from Bourbon High School in 1963 and graduated from the University of Evansville with a Bachelors Degree. He began his career in Bourbon at Biomet (O.E.C.) and then moved with Biomet as it transitioned to Warsaw in 1990. John was retired as a Director of Regulatory Affairs for over twenty years. His hobbies included spending time with his family, cooking, fishing, mowing lawn, the Chicago Bears, Big 10 college basketball and was a avid fan of Notre Dame football. On May 2, 1998 he married Brenda (Gallup) who survives along with four children: Scott and Jennifer Wagoner of Lansing, MI; Angela (Mrs. Terry) Hile of Round Rock, TX; Matthew and Lisa Dolbee of Kailua, Hawaii; Daniel and Alissa Dolbee of Warsaw, IN along with twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce (Mrs. Jim) Dunn of Tucson, AZ and brother, Richard and Jean Wagoner of Springfield, OH. John was preceded in death by his parents and son Nathan Dolbee. The family received friends on Monday June 3-5 & 6-8 p.m. in Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home 115 S. Main St., Bourbon, IN 46504. A funeral service was on Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jordan Muck officiating and burial following in Pleasant Hill Cemetery Bourbon, IN.2 |
