He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, Caley, Randy, Hadyn, Harry, Aaryn, Chloe, Emma, and Caitlin Tyler, and his son-in-law, Charles Sullivan. Tyler also leaves behind two sisters, Vera Jones and Mary Wise. He was preceded in death by his four brothers, Verlin Clarence, Tommy, and Guy Henry Iverson. As a teen, Mr. Iverson left his home to work in the C.C.C. camps as a logger in Oregon to be able to send money home to support his mother and younger siblings. Following his time in Oregon, Mr. Iverson joined the US Navy and served his country during WWII, the Korean Conflict, and the Cuban Conflict. Upon leaving the service of our country, he worked for South Central Bell until he retired. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, with services at 2 p.m. Saturday, both at Forest Hill Funeral Home South, with interment to follow in Forest Hill Midtown. Forest Hill Funeral Home.6 |

He was born October 10, 1937, in San Diego, California, the son of Charles Chesley Curtis and Mary Sue (Wright) Curtis. On March 14, 1957, he married Wilda Jo Oakes and she preceded him in death in March, 1994. On June 15, 1996, in Windsor, Mo., he married Janet Kaye "Jan" Hunholz and she preceded him in death on October 25, 2009. Mr. Curtis served in the United States Navy and worked for some time with the Memphis Tennessee Fire Department. He later went to Southwest Technical Institute and became a certified electrician. He worked for the Army Corp of Engineers, retiring after many years of service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of the Eagles Lodge, near Lincoln, Mo.
Survivors include a daughter, Vivian Freeman, Rogers, Arkansas; a son, Chris Curtis, Vernon, Alabama; 2 step-sons, Buddy Lee Hunholz, Palm Beach, Florida; Kurt Hunholz; Concordia, Mo; 2 step-daughters, Corey Kaye Martin, Starkville, Mississippi; Rebecca Dawn Meeks, Kansas City, Missouri; 3 grandchildren; and a great grandson; a cousin, Barbara Papetti, Clermont, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and wives and a step-daughter. A gathering for family and friends was held October 18, 2012. Arrangements under the direction of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, Mo.3 |

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra KLEIN, Logansport, and Michaelle B OLLENBERG, Bonneau, S.C; one son, Howard STEWART and wife Mary, Hudson, Fla; one stepson, Leroy BOWEN and wife Iva, Greentown; 18 grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren; two sisters in law, Betty MASTELLER, Roches ter and Louise MASTELLER, Kewanna. She was preceded by her parents and husbands; a daughter, Marynelle BARNES; a sister, Helen SMITH; and two brothers, Robert and Claude MASTELLER.
