The widower of Margaret Jeane Iverson, he is survived by one daughter, Debbie House of Tahlequah, OK. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Sullivan. He is survived by five grand-children, Robert House, Cole Sullivan, Jennifer Caldwell, Kellye Sullivan and Trey House. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, Caley, Randy, Hadyn, Harry, Aaryn, Chloe, Emma, and Caitlin Tyler, and his son-in-law, Charles Sullivan. Tyler also leaves behind two sisters, Vera Jones and Mary Wise. He was preceded in death by his four brothers, Verlin Clarence, Tommy, and Guy Henry Iverson. As a teen, Mr. Iverson left his home to work in the C.C.C. camps as a logger in Oregon to be able to send money home to support his mother and younger siblings. Following his time in Oregon, Mr. Iverson joined the US Navy and served his country during WWII, the Korean Conflict, and the Cuban Conflict. Upon leaving the service of our country, he worked for South Central Bell until he retired. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, with services at 2 p.m. Saturday, both at Forest Hill Funeral Home South, with interment to follow in Forest Hill Midtown.

Charles C. Curtis, 75, of rural Windsor, Missouri died Monday, October 15, 2012, at his home. He was born October 10, 1937, in San Diego, California, the son of Charles Chesley Curtis and Mary Sue (Wright) Curtis. On March 14, 1957, he married Wilda Jo Oakes and she preceded him in death in March, 1994. On June 15, 1996, in Windsor, Mo., he married Janet Kaye "Jan" Hunholz and she preceded him in death on October 25, 2009. Mr. Curtis served in the United States Navy and worked for some time with the Memphis Tennessee Fire Department. He later went to Southwest Technical Institute and became a certified electrician. He worked for the Army Corp of Engineers, retiring after many years of service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of the Eagles Lodge, near Lincoln, Mo.

Survivors include a daughter, Vivian Freeman, Rogers, Arkansas; a son, Chris Curtis, Vernon, Alabama; 2 step-sons, Buddy Lee Hunholz, Palm Beach, Florida; Kurt Hunholz; Concordia, Mo; 2 step-daughters, Corey Kaye Martin, Starkville, Mississippi; Rebecca Dawn Meeks, Kansas City, Missouri; 3 grandchildren; and a great­ grandson; a cousin, Barbara Papetti, Clermont, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and wives and a step-daughter. A gathering for family and friends was held October 18, 2012. Arrangements under the direction of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, Mo.3

Delford (Kathleen) BOWEN, R.R. 2, Rochester; two sons, Robert [MASTELLER], Kewann a, and Claude [MASTELLER], R.R. 1, Rochester; fifteen grandchildren; a step grandson; several great grandchildren, and a great great granddaughter. A son, a brother and a sister preceded in death. Arrangements are pending at the Foster & Good funeral home.3

Jan. 20, 1918 to April 1, 1998 Claude W. MASTELLER, 80, 6309 E. 250 S. Rochester, died at 4:02 p.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Hospital, Carmel. Born in Fulton County near Athens to Justin A. and Mary E. MOORE MASTELLER, he married Ethel E. BOYER on Dec. 20, 1941 in Athens. She survives at home. Masteller was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, the Pacific theater, where he was involved in the battles of Luzon, Philippines and New Guinea.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon and husband Michael SIPE, Indianapolis, and Claudia and husband Roger BAILEY, Akron: two grandchildren, Andrew M. SIPE, Indianapolis, and Angela M. AHLEFELD, Pendleton; five great grandchildren, Rachel [SIPE], Skylar [SIPE] and Jacob SIPE, Jayce [AHLEFELD] and Makyla AHLEFELD; one sister, Kathleen and husband Delford BOWEN, Rochester. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Helen SMITH, and two br others, Robert [MASTELLER] and Ralph MASTELLER. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester. Rev. David MILLS will officiate. Burial will be in Hoover Cemetery, Athens. Friends may call from 4 8 p.m. Friday or one hour prior to service s. The American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars will be in charge of Military Graveside Services.1

Kathleen M. BOWEN, 80, 922 Claude St., Logansport, and formerly of Rochester, died at 2:05 p.m. Friday at Woodlawn Hospital after a short illness. She was born near Athens to Justin and Mary MOORE MASTELLER. She first married Howard A. STEWART, who preceded her in death. She then married Delford D. BOWEN on April 21, 1962, in Goshen. He died March 29, 2002. Before moving to Logansport, she lived in Rochester 40 Years. She had been a librarian at the Fulton County Public Library and a Fulton Circuit Court clerk. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Logansport, and was active in the Ladies of the Moose Lodge No. 1107 in Rochester, and Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra KLEIN, Logansport, and Michaelle B OLLENBERG, Bonneau, S.C; one son, Howard STEWART and wife Mary, Hudson, Fla; one stepson, Leroy BOWEN and wife Iva, Greentown; 18 grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren; two sisters in law, Betty MASTELLER, Roches ter and Louise MASTELLER, Kewanna. She was preceded by her parents and husbands; a daughter, Marynelle BARNES; a sister, Helen SMITH; and two brothers, Robert and Claude MASTELLER. Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Monday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with Pastor Jeff STRITE officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery at Athens. Visitation is 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday or one hour prior to funeral services at the funeral home. Mem orials may be made to the Church of Christ in Logansport.5
