He is survived by five grand-children, Robert House, Cole Sullivan, Jennifer Caldwell, Kellye Sullivan and Trey House. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, Caley, Randy, Hadyn, Harry, Aaryn, Chloe, Emma, and Caitlin Tyler, and his son-in-law, Charles Sullivan. Tyler also leaves behind two sisters, Vera Jones and Mary Wise. He was preceded in death by his four brothers, Verlin Clarence, Tommy, and Guy Henry Iverson. As a teen, Mr. Iverson left his home to work in the C.C.C. camps as a logger in Oregon to be able to send money home to support his mother and younger siblings. Following his time in Oregon, Mr. Iverson joined the US Navy and served his country during WWII, the Korean Conflict, and the Cuban Conflict. Upon leaving the service of our country, he worked for South Central Bell until he retired. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, with services at 2 p.m. Saturday, both at Forest Hill Funeral Home South, with interment to follow in Forest Hill Midtown. Forest Hill Funeral Home.3 |
