Funeral services for Theron Curtis, 54, who died Tuesday at Fort Stewart Army Hospital after a long illness were held today at 4 p.m. at the Elm Baptist Church. The services were conducted by the Rev. J.H. NeSmith and the Rev. M.a. Murray. Burial was in the church cemetery. Surviving are his wife; one son, James Curtis, Gas City, Ind; three daughters, Miss Clarice Curtis, Brunswick, Miss Grace Curtis, and Miss Annette Curtis, of Brunswick; six sisters, Mrs. Davis Lang, Mrs. Daisy Clark, Miss Jaunita Curtis and Mrs. Marie Edwars, all of Brunswick, Mrs. Julia Casteland, Bridgeport, Conn., and Mrs. Fanny Way, Ludowici; three brothers, Oscard Curtis and R.G. Curtis, both of Brunswick and John Curtis, Marietta. Carter Funeral Home of Hinesville was in charge of arrangements.²
