Emizire "Bud" Andrew Curtis, 88, Stilesville, died Nov. 28, 2007, at the Waters of Greencastle. Born Sept. 19, 1919, in Morgan County, he was the son of the late Edgar and Iva (Bryant) Curtis. He married Wilma "Sis" Pauline (Clearwater) Curtis on Nov. 13, 1940; she survives in Stilesville. He and his wife operated Curtis Grocery and Garage for 25 years. He retired from Curtis Garage and Wrecker in Little Point after 25 years. He also drove a school bus for the Eminence Community School Corp. for 54 years. He was a member of Amity Baptist Church in Cloverdale.
Other survivors include two daughters, Linda Shupe and Pam Curtis, both of Stilesville; a son, Larry Curtis of Morgantown; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Alma Curtis. The service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. The Rev. C. Robert Hine will officiate. Visiting hours will be noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Stilesville Cemetery.5
