A homemaker, she was a member of Macy United Methodist Church, Ruth Circle of Macy UMC; a past member of Macy Firemen's Auxiliary and Allen Township Home Extension Club. She is also survived by one daughter, Paula D. ALLEN, Roann; one son, Robert L. SHADEL, Mexico; three grandsons, Jason ALLEN, Las Vegas. SOUTH BEND - Elvin Dwight Morrical, 76, residing in South Bend, passed into eternal life with his Lord and Savior at 1:05 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2009, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. He was born April 21, 1933, in South Bend, the son of Ray and Gertrude (Mathewson) Morrical, and had remained a lifelong resident, having lived on the south side most of his life. He graduated from Central High School in 1951, entered the United States Navy and was stationed on the USS Lloyd Thomas.
On May 17, 1952, in the Indiana Avenue Christian Church, South Bend, he was united in marriage to Waneta M. Shadel, who survives.
Besides his loving wife of 57 years, he is survived by a daughter, Diane and David Lung of Mishawaka; and his two sons, John and Jackie Morrical, Aaron and Christine Morrical, all of South Bend; two grandchildren, Robert and Stephanie Morrical; two step-grandchildren, Christina (Charles) Correl and Patricia (Russ) Reece; two step-great-grandchildren, Charles Correl Jr. and Elana Correl; his sister, Adeane Sequin of South Bend, and cousin, Paul Winslow, survive Elvin as well. His sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Ray Back, preceded him in death.
Mr. Morrical retired from the Indiana Michigan Power Company where he worked as a sub-station mechanic. He was also employed part-time as an ambulance driver at Guisinger Funeral Home, was a volunteer with the American Red Cross where he taught CPR classes, was a longtime Boy Scout leader, was active with Promise Keepers, and was a member of Christ Chapel in South Bend. He was also a member of IBEW Union 1392. Elvin loved the Lord and loved to serve Him whenever the opportunity arose. He will be greatly missed by many. Services celebrating the life of Elvin Morrical will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 1st, in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend. Rev. Stephen Sumrall, pastor of Christ Chapel, will officiate. Graveside services and military honors will follow at Southlawn Cemetery.3

Jerry is survived by his wife, Anna L. Brownbridge; four children, David (Janet) Brownbridge, Greg (Sue) Brownbridge, Debbie (Charlie) McIlroy and Michael (Elizabeth) Brownbridge all of Mishawaka, IN; twenty grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Eileen J. Williamson, and two brothers, Gordon and Donald Brownbridge. Jerry was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Riley High School, the class of 1953. He served his country honorably in the United States Army Air Force. Jerry retired from Nibco Corporation in Elkhart after thirty-nine and a half years of service. He loved to play the organ and enjoyed fishing and camping. Jerry was a member of Christ Chapel, South Bend. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 17, 2014 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN. Graveside services and burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN.3
