Jessie J. "Judy" Goodwin, 78, of Terre Haute died Saturday afternoon, Nov. 13, 1999, in Meadows Manor North Retirement & Convalescent Center. She was a cook. She was born April 24, 1921, in Hymera to Oscar Chesnutt and Bessie Mize Chesnutt.
Survivors include her husband, Robert N. Goodwin; four daughters, one son, two stepdaughters, one stepson, twin sister, sister, 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Wilma Chesnutt and Joan Bright; and one brother, Ruel Chesnutt. She was a member of Victory Christian Church in Seelyville, a member of Church of God, American Legion Post 104 Ladies Auxiliary, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 972 Ladies Auxiliary.
Burial is in Roselawn Memorial Park.3
