Gwen Haney was a native of Blount County, Tennessee. Her parents were the late Aarcenia London Johnston and Nellie Mae Collins Johnston. Before retirement she worked as a dental hygienist for Dr. Tom Brady. She was a member of the Monticello Presbyterian Church. She was a former member of the E.L. Club and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Eatonton VFW. She was a volunteer for Special Olympics and a drive member for the American Heart Assoc. Her husband, James Wilburn Haney, preceded her in death. |
