He was a United States Navy veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He was a retired Electrician, having worked for Conalco, Propper Industries, Aqua Glass, and Waverly Wood. Mr. Curtis loved farming and was a member of Buffalo Primitive Baptist Church in Hurricane Mills, TN. Visitation with the family will be Monday, May 18, 2015, from 5-9 p.m. and Tuesday, May 19, 2015, from 9 am. until funeral service time at 2 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Rev. John Curtis will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Sanders Cemetery in McEwen, TN. If you wish, donations may be made to Humphreys County Relay for Life or Buffalo Primitive Baptist Church.
