She also was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Surviving are two sons, John of Elmwood and George David (and Marcia) of Upper Marlboro, Md; one daughter, Hazel (and Ken) Murray.³

He was born June 4, 1918, in Stark County to Jonahan and Jennie Cox Curtis. Surviving are two sisters, Marie Weigand of Rogers, Ark., and Jean M. Hovenden of rural Elmwood; and several nieces and nephews. One sister and one brother preceded him in death. He was a farmer and a self-employed truck driver. He later worked at Caterpillar.⁶
