He was preceded in death by his wife, Natalie Curtis; daughter, Barbara Curtis; special friend, Ruby Jones; parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. O. Curtis; brother, Jack Curtis and sister, Bess Buckner all of Sylva, NC. Survived by nephew, Ed Buckner and wife, Kendra; niece, Patsy Cruse and husband, Max; grand nephews, Josh Buckner and Seth Buckner; grand nieces, Patty Cruse Swartz and Pamela Cruse Martocci. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:45 p.m. Friday at Click Funeral Home. Masonic services will follow at 7 p.m. conducted by the Avery Masonic Lodge. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Baker and Rev. James Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the William L. Curtis Memorial Fund at Trinity United Methodist Church.6 |
