In her early years, she taught school at Sweetwater Elementary School and later became a homemaker. She was a member of the Sweetwater United Methodist Church, where she served in many capacities. Lucille had been active in the Hayesville Home Demonstration Club. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann Curtis of Charlotte; and several nieces and nephews. Burial in Sweetwater United Methodist Church Cemetery.3 |
