He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Cathy; two sons: Phillip Sanders, serving in the U.S. Air Force in Little Rock, AR and Brian Sanders serving in the U.S. Navy iin the state of Washington ; parents Leo and Phyllis Curtis of McAllen, TX, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Helen and Charles Schilling of Valparaiso, IN;; one niece, Jessica Schilling of Valparaiso, IN and two nephews; Jeff (Patty) Newman of Cave Creek, AZ and Adam Schilling of Kansas City, MO and aunts, uncles and cousins. Cremation to follow funeral services on November 17, 2005. Craig was a lifetime resident of this area, worked as a Research tech for Inland Steel Co., for 21 years and was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church of Whiting, IN.

Mr. Crackel is survived by his wife, Ferris Crackel of Albion; two sons, Lynden Crackel of Olney and Gale Crackel of Grayville; three daughters, Kay Tate and Maria Moody, both of Albion, and Sue Grove of Olney; two brothers, Harry Crackel and Roy Crackel of Springfield, Ohio; one sister, Alma Wardrope of Lexington, Ky; 14 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mr. Crackel was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.5
