Lester L. WHITE, 74, 1216 Pontiac street, died at 4:15 p.m. Saturday at South Bend Memorial hospital. He had been ill for six months. He was born Aug. 20, 1904 in Kosciusko county to Lewis and Minnie Mae COWELL WHITE and had lived in Fulton county most of his life. His first marriage was to Virginia SWIHART, who died Oct. 29, 1953. His second marriage was in June, 1955 to Dorothy SWICK, who survives. Mr. White was a retired farmer and was retired from the Midwest Spring company, Mentone. He was a member of the Talma United Methodist church, where he had served as chairman of the building committee. He was a member of the Rochester Masonic lodge, the South Bend Scottish Rite, the Mizpah Temple, Fort Wayne, and the Rochester Eastern Star.
Surviving with the wife are a daughter, Mrs. Harrold (Lola) COLLINS, Rochester, and three granddaughters, Terry Jo COLLINS, Carrie Lynn COLLINS and Cynthia Jane COLLINS, all of Rochester. A sister and brother preceded in death. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Talma United Methodist church with the Rev. Robert HECKMAN officiating. Burial will be in the Athens cemetery. Friends may call at the Foster & Good funeral home between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. today and at the church between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rochester Masonic lodge will hold a memorial service at 7:30
p.m. today. Memorials may be sent to the Talma United Methodist church.4

Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Mickey (Patricia) EATON, Mentone, and Mrs. Larry (Diana) NELLANS, Fort Myers, Fla; four grandchildren, Kevin EATON, Kim EATON, Neal NELLANS and Shelby NELLANS COLEMEN; and three great-grandchildren. A member of the Church of God, she is survived by her husband; two sons, Claude [WHITE], of Akron, and Everett [WHITE], of Terre Haute, and a daughter, Eliza Ann [WHITE], at home. Funeral services will be held at the Olive Bethel church Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Hubert JOHNSON officiating. The burial will be in the Nichols cemetery and the body will be taken to the home Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. where friends may call.2

Surviving are a son, Wayne [RITTER], Wilmington, N.C. two grandchildre; four great-grandchildren, and a brother, Harold McINTYRE, Rochester. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Summit Chapel Cemetery, northeast of Tippecanoe, the Rev. Douglas FIITZEL officiating. Friends may call at the Grossman Funeral

The survivors are the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Aninia CLEMENS, of Macy; a grandson; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William McINTIRE, of near Akron; two sisters, Mrs. Lulu RITTER, of Tippecanoe; Mrs. Emaline LEHMAN, of Mentone; and two brothers, Harold McINTIRE, of Akron and Kelsey McINTIRE of Logansport. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, two o’clock at the Akron Church of God. The Reverends Chas. MANES, of Akron, and Herman HEDGES of Columbia City, Ind., will officiate. Interment will be made in the Akron I.O.O.F. cemetery.5
