He had been a patient there since early last week. A lifelong resident of Morgan county, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Ellen Smith Michael, and was the last of his immediate family being survived only by a number of distant relatives in the area. He was a member of Berkeley Lodge, A. F. and A. M. of Hedgesville. Services were held Sunday from the C.L. Hunter Funeral Home by Berkeley Lodge, A.F. and A.M., and interment in Greenway Cemetery. For many years the deceased lived in Sleepy Creek district and for some time policed the large mountain land tract owned by the Mellon Bank of Pittsburgh.9 |
