James Chester Sunderland, 69, of Route 6, died Tuesday in a hospital. Mr. Sunderland was a native of Ohio and had resided in Milton for the past six years. He was a retired millright, a veteran of World War II and a member of the Coldwater reorganized church of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors are Thelma Barnes Sunderland of Milton; three sisters, Helen Long of Columbus, Ohio, Edna Wagner and Nellie Komives, both of Canada; a brother, Stanford Sunderland of Canada, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday. Active pallbearers will be Fred Barnes, Effert (Tom) Barnes, Richard Jerigan, Ted Pospiech, Trammel Wolfe, Everet Oglesby, Grover Barnes Jr., and David M.
