Obit | Robert L.'s obituary was published in the Rochester Sentinel on 16 February 1914: Robert PRILL, eight year old son of Mr. and Mrs Ray PRILL, died Sunday evening at the home on south Franklin street, after a two weeks illness of scarlet fever. The funeral was held this afternoon at one o’clock and the father and other relatives who were not quarantined were compelled to view the body through a window in the house. The family has been compelled to suffer the sorrow of two deaths within the last 36 hours, Mrs. Wyota WHITE, sister of Mr. Prill, having passed away at the hospital Saturday noon. The son who died Sunday took sick about two weeks ago and the home was quarantined a few days later. Notwithstanding all that the medical aid could do he became steadily worse and died Sunday evening at seven o’clock. There are three other small children in the family.
The funeral of Mrs. Wyota WHITE, who died Saturday, will be held at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John PRILL, in Athens, Wednesday at one o’clock.1 |

Obit | Atwill (William)'s obituary was published in the Rochester Sentinel on 30 March 1938: Atwill McHENRY, aged 77, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ed McCARTER four miles east of Rochester at 2:30 o’clock Wednesday morning after an illness of a week which followed a stroke of paralysis. The deceased was a life long resident of Fulton county where he followed the occupation of farming. He was born on a farm east of Fulton on August 6, 1860 and was the son of John and Elizabeth McHENRY. Mr. McHenry for many years lived on a farm in the Bruce Lake community. His wife who preceded him in death was Matilda JOHNSON. They were married in 1880. Mr. McHenry was a member of the Greenland Evangelical Church at Lake Bruce. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Stella MURPHY and Mrs. Eva CLAREY both of Chicago and Mrs. McCARTER; son, Omar McHENRY also of Chicago; 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Nellie PRILL also preceded her father in death. The body will be returned Thursday morning to the McCarter home from the Ditmire Mortuary at Fulton. Funeral services will be conducted from the Greenland Evangelical Church at Lake Bruce at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be made in the adjoining cemetery.1 |

Obit | Lillian's obituary was published in the Weston County Gazette on 20 January 1938: Rites Held for Former Resident Funeral services were held last Friday from the Claremont Congregational Church at Pomona, Calif., for Mrs. Lillian Buell, 78, who died sudently last Monday from a stroke of paralysis suffered at the home of her brother-in-law, Dr. D.C. Bryant of that city. She was the mother of Glenn Buell, prominent resident of this city. Mrs. Buell was a fine Christian woman, a devoted mother to her only son and all who knew her loved her and their lives were made better by her friendship and association.
Born in Ypsilante, Mich., she moved at the age of four to Median county, Ohio with her family. At the age of 15 she joined the Methodist Episcopal church, later transferring her letter to the Congregational church. In 1880, she maried Avery Buell. A daughter died at the age of three, and a son, Glenn A. Buell, now resides in Upton. After her husband died in 1887, Mrs. Buell moved to Omaha, Nebr., and in 1910 they moved to Wyoming.
An active church worker all her life, Mrs. Buell became a member of the First Presbyterian church of Pomona after she came to Claremont 20 years ago to reside with the brother-in-law, Dr. D.C. Bryant. Besides her son, she is survived by two grandchildren, Roger and Althea Buell of Upton, Wyo., and three nephews, Jay Pckard of Paradise, Cal., Dr. R.M. Packard of Oakland, Neb., and H.d. Packard of Pomona.1 |

The funeral was conducted at the family residence by Elder W.W. Laughlin. Text: "If a man die shall he live again?" Interment at the Linden Cemetery. The universal esteem and respect in which our friend and brother was held was evidenced by the large concourse of sorrowing friends that followed the remains to their last resting place. In hope of the glorious resurrection did we lay him to rest. May the Lord comfort the bereaved ones.9 |

(Witness) Bio | William A. Tann was born in Nemaha county, Nebraska, on Sept. 18th, 1858, the son of Frederick and Elizabeth Tann. In his seventh year his parents located in Atchison county, Missouri, and here he resided until his death, with the exception of two years, when, in connection with his brother, John, he owned and lived upon what is known as the Boettner farm. His death occurred on June 28, 1905. Besides attending the district school he was educated at the Rock Port Seminary. At the time of taking the accompanying view his farm comprised 200 acres, situated in sections 16 and 17, township 65, range 41, three miles northwest of Rock Port. The residence on this farm is of 1 ¾ stories, in size 16x34 feet and 16x24 feet. The barn, in size, is 40x50 feet, with 10-foot posts. There are also other necessary outbuildings and an orchard and vineyard. Mr. Tann fed annually, on an average, about one car-load of cattle and seventy-five head of hogs. On Feb. 18, 1890, Mr. Tann was united in marriage with Miss Theda Ann Benedict, daughter of Levi and Margaret Benedict. She was born in Atchison county, Missouri, on Oct. 14, 1870, and died Oct. 27, 1901. To Mr. and Mrs. Tann were born four children, three of whom are living, namely: Birdie Leah, born Dec. 2, 1893; Lillian Marie, born Oct. 8, 1896; Theda Myrtle, born Oct. 12, 1902. Annie Laura, born Feb. 16, 1891, died April 4, 1893. Mr. and Mrs. Tann were members of the Linden Christian church. In politics Mr. Tann was a Republican. He held the office of school director two terms. Mr. Tann's mother died on April 2nd, 1891.-his father died on May 12th, 1901. His father was a native of New York-his mother of Ohio.
