She was a 1932 graduate of Underwood High School. She was co-owner of Beezley North Sixth Street Grocery for 21 years, then a sales clerk at John Beno Co. for seven years. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. Mrs. Beezley and her husband, Homer P., were married 71 years. The were married April 21, 1932. Survivors in addition to her husband include sons, Marvin H. Beezley of Knoxville, Gerald P. Beezley of Englewood, N.J., and Richard L. Beezley and wife, Marcia, of Burnsville, Minn; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; family friends, Joyce and George Epperson of Council Bluffs. She was the last survivor of a family of nine girls. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at Epworth United Methodist Church.2 |

Was a nurse at Scott & White Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1995. Mrs. Beezley was preceded in death by her husband, Donald D. Beezleyl; parents, Kenneth and Hazel Lockridge; daughter, Mary Kay Beezley; and her brother, Ardith Lockridge. Survivors include son, Brian Beezley of Harker Heights; daughter, Joan Blazier of Nolanville; brothers, Jack Lockridge and Jim Lockridge, both of North English; three grandchildren; sister in-laws, two in North English and one in Amana.
