William Alvin, son of Samuel and Sarah HUNTER, was born in Fulton county on December 3, 1857, and had resided in this community his entire life. He was united in marriage to Nora NEWCOMER, who preceded him in death. Mr. Hunter was a retired farmer and laborer. Survivors include two sons, Guy, Rochester; Fred [HUNTER], Akron; a sister, Mrs. Dora LINKENHELT, Rochester; a brother, Nellie HUNTER, Logansport; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.4 |
