On Oct. 25, 1933, in Hagarville, AR, he married Newell Mary Michelson who preceded him in death on April 3, 1962. He married Wilma Cousins McGowen on Aug. 7, 1963, and she preceded him in death on July 4, 1996. Survivors include: one son, Clarence W. Curtis; three daughters, Juanita Smith, Cleda Neal and Frieda DeWalsche; one brother, Kenneth D. Curtis; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Visitation was held at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, where services were held with The Rev. Delbert Bishop officiating. Burial followed in the New Morley Cemetery at Morley. Pallbearers were: Monte DeWalsche, Frederick Neal, Charles Smith, I.W. Owen, David Curtis and Joshua Curtis.2 |
