Surviving with the husband are one daughter, Mrs. Tom (Ladonna) NICKLAUS, R.R. 4, Rochester; four sisters, Mrs. Mildred ZIMMERMAN, Peru; Mrs. Ray (Bernice) SHELTON, Rochester; Mrs. Ernest (Helen) IRVIN, R.R. 2, Rochester, and Mrs. Loreen NICKELL, Rochester; two brothers, Robert [WELLER], Fremont, O., and Harry [WELLER], Marion, O; two
granddaughters, and one grandson. Preceding in death were a son, Louis [HECKATHORN], in

The body is at the Hunter Funeral Home and will be moved Thursday, June 24, 1:00 p.m. to the Trinity UM Church for services at 2:00, conducted by the Rev. Henry Fisher, with burial at Mt Zion Cemetery, Spohr's Cross Roads.³

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James L. Starliper on May 4, 1974 and by her second husband, John H. Myers who died October 5, 1991. Survivors include two sons, James A. Starliper, Severn MD and Ronald E. Starliper, Bowie, MD; one sister, Adeline Mesner, Berkeley Springs; four step-sons: John H. Myers Jr., FL, Harry S. Myers and L. Roy "Larry" Myers, both of Greencastle, PA; and Donald Myers, Rouzerville, PA; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 28 from the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle Street, Greencastle, PA with Pastor Stacy Crawford officiating. Burial was in the Broadfording Church Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD.¹

A Tribute. Raymond and Marie Pentoney were married six years on November 8. He was 45 on the 13th of November and passed away on November 21. Raymond will be missed by many as he lay there in his bed for 20 years or more. He had a cheerful smile for everyone coming in, even to reach them as they went by on the street with a big hello over his intercom system. Raymond never complained for he knew God had work for him to do and he did it, by writing sermons and sending the word of God through the mail to soldier boys and friends, and over the telephone. Yes, he'll be missed but his memories and testimonies will never be - they'll always live in our hearts and hope someday to meet him. By his aunt, Iva A. Rankin Mason.¹
