[Missing text] Eldridge, Hagerstown, Md., and a nephew William L. Michael, Los Angeles, Calif. Services will be conducted Friday, 2:00 p.m., at the Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Edward L. Mullins, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Greenway Cemetery. Fearnow, 84, died early this morning at his home on South Washington Street after an illness since December 14, when he suffered a paralytic stroke. Death was due to a heart attach. A native of Morgan county, he was born January 13, 1878, a son of the late Thomas N. and Elizabeth Weber Fearnow. He was the last of the original rural mail carriers from the Berkeley Springs Post Office, a position from which he retired in 1934. He was a member of First E.U.B. Church and of Deford Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his wife, Vertie C. Fearnow. Other survivors are three nieces and a nephew. One niece, Mrs. Philip Bohrer, of Silver Spring, Md., lived most of her childhood and youth with Mr. and Mrs. Fearnow. The body is at the Parks-Johnson Funeral Home where tentative plans are for services Saturday afternoon at two conducted by the Rev. Dr. Swain, of First E.U.B. Church. Interment will be in Greenway.2 |

Surviving are her husband, Edgar E. Pentoney, Sr., at the home; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Phyllis) Redick, Berkeley Springs; one son, Edgar E. Pentoney, Mr. Berkeley Springs; six grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Katherine Hovermale, Berkeley Springs; Mrs. Nettie McBee, Biglersville, Pa; Mrs. Ella Dick, Martinsburg; one half sister, Mrs. Ruth Weber, Berkeley Springs; one brother, Elsworth Michael, Williamsport, Md; one half brother, Donald McBee, Berkeley Springs. The casket was moved to the late home east of Berkeley Springs, where the family received friends. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, October 22, at 3:00 p.m. at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, the Rev. Henry Fisher officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Helsley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.6 |

Mrs. Pentoney is also survived by one full brother, Roy Kesecker, Berkeley Springs; two half-sisters, Mary Stock of Middleburg, Pa. And Evelyn Carney of Ridgewood, N.J; two half brothers, Lawrence Kesecker and Paul Kesecker; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, April 22 at 2:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Green Street, Berkeley Springs, by pastor Ed Hampton and Rev. Gene Perry. Interment followed at Mt.
