Her husband, William B. Fearnow, died in 1962. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Berkeley Springs, and a charter member of Berkeley Springs Woman's Club.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Clorus C. Michael, Berkeley Springs; Mrs. Ivy Buzzerd, Berkeley Springs; two nieces, Mrs. Clarence (Joy) Eldrige, Hagerstown, Md., and Mrs. Philip (Aline) Bohrer, Silver Spring, Md; one nephew, William L. Michael, Los Angeles, Calif; two great nieces and two great nephews. Services were conducted Saturday, August 28, at Johnson Funeral Home by the Rev. Monroe Shearer. Burial was in the family plot at Greenway Cemetery.3

Miss Orpha M. Fearnow, 70, died Saturday at Morgan County War Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient five days following a fall in which she fractured her hip. A native of Morgan County, she was born December 8, 1887, a daughter of the late R. L. and Mary (Johnson) Fearnow. She was a member of the EUB Church of Berkeley Springs. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. W.B. Fearnow, with whom she made her home, Mrs. Arthur Michael and Mrs. Lewis Buzzerd, all of Berkeley Springs; and a brother, Stanley Fearnow of Berkeley Springs. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at Parks Funeral Home by the Rev. Paul J. Slonaker. Interment was in Greenway Cemetery here.2

Stanley W. Fearnow, 70, local farmer, died suddenly Tuesday evening at his farm home south of Smiths Cross Roads. Born in Morgan county September 16, 1889, he was a son of the late Richard Lafayette Fearnow and Mary Johnson Fearnow. He had spent his entire life in Morgan county where he engaged in farming. He also maintained a home in Berkeley Springs. He had never married. He was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are three sisters-Mrs. William B. Fearnow, Mrs. Arthur J. Michael and Mrs. Lewis Buzzerd, all of Berkeley Springs. The body is at the Parks Funeral Home where services will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock D.S.T. The Rev. Paul J. Slonaker, of Winchester, Va., former pastor of First E.U.B. Church here, officiating. Interment will be in Greenway Cemetery.6

Mrs. Chlorus A. Michael, formerly of 2 Rockwell Circle, Berkeley Springs, died Friday, February 17 in the Clearview Nursing Home, Hagerstown, Md., where she had been a guest for four years. She was born in Morgan County January 30, 1892, a daughter of the late R.L. and Mary Johnson Fearnow. Mrs. Michael was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur J. Michael on March 11, 1976. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Surviving are one son, William L. Michael, Los Angeles, Calif; two daughters, Mrs. Aline Bohrer, Silver Spring, Md; Joy Eldridge, Hagerstown, Md; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, February 2 at the Johnson Funeral Home in Berkeley Springs, with the Rev. Earl Day officiating. Interment was in the Greenway Cemetery. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances take the form of contributions to the charity of their choice.2
