She worked at Londontown Manufacturing in Hancock during the 1960s and then moved to Boca Raton, FL where she owned and operated a gift shop until 1981 when she returned to Berkeley Springs. She also worked as a waitress at Barb's in Hazelton, PA and had been a homemaker in recent years. She is survived by one son, Larry Wayne "Bear" Waugh of Berkeley Springs; three grandchildren, Robert Waugh of Boynton, FL, Ann Beverly Waugh of Hagerstown, MD and Larry w. Waugh, Jr. of Berkeley Springs; one sister, Joan Valentine of Hedgesville, WV; two brothers, William Harrell of Oregon and Robert Harrell of Geneva, NY; two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jimmy Carroll Waugh on November 7, 1982; her second husband, Leon William Roach on August 17, 1989; two sons, Jimmy Carroll Waugh, Jr. and Gary Lee Waugh and one brother, Donald M. Harrell, Jr. Services and interment will be private. The Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs handled the arrangements.3 |
