Obit | Agnes Mary's obituary was published in the Courier-Tribune on 19 September 1960: Final rites for Mrs. Agnes Moser Curtis, 81, of Greensboro, a native of Randolph County, were conducted Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Moriah Methodist Church and burial made in the church cemetery. Mrs. Curtis died in a Greensboro hospital Saturday morning after several months declining health and three weeks serious illness. Surviving are two sons, Roy T. Curtis and J. Clarence Curtis, both of Greensboro; three daughters, Mrs. Pearl C. Kimball of Winston-Salem, Mrs. Maude Whittemore of Greensboro and Mrs. Elsie Parker of Charlotte; one sister, Mrs. Lou Ferguson of Julian; three brothers, W.L. Moser, Cecil T. Moser, Sidney A. Moser, all of Greensboro; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.9 |
