(Witness) Bio | Cause of Death: kicked by a horse James F and Harriet E. are listed in the 1880 census for Brown County, TX dated June 10, 1880 as farmer for James and keeping house for Harriet. In the 1880 Census the children are Eugene, Andrew, John, James and Lou. He had a sister Ann (Keland/Keeley). Ann and her husband came with them from Tennessee and Arkansas to Texas. They lived in Brown County Texas from 1874 on. The other sister (name unknown) married into the Kelley family and lived in Brown in 1874 and later moved to Comanche County near by. There were 2 cousins by the name of Don Keland and Willie Keland. both were born in Brown County and remained there up to 1906 and possibly longer. James and family lived in Abilene in 1886-1888; them moved to Honeycreek with a neighbor named Bevines. The Bevines boys and the Webb boys moved the cattle. They then moved to Demonte, Texas and crossed the river just north of Demonte. Both brothers of James were killed in the Civil War. There is not a tombstone marking James' grave in the Bailey Cemetery, Bailey, Oklahoma. These are memories of his son Firm Webb as told to Mary Lou Meador Webb daughter-in-law of James and Harriet's son Barney. According to the 1880 Brown County, Texas census records Ann married W.J.
