She bore her suffering with a courageous spirit and maintained a cheerfulness that showed that she was a most remarkable woman. Curtis January 13, 1881, who survives her together with one daughter, Mrs. Eliza Williamson, of Boulder. When the farmers of the Beaver Creek district disposed of their rights to the Beaver Land and Water Company, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis took up their home in Florence where they have resided since. Tho both of retiring dispositions, thru their generosity and open-heartedness, have extended their circle of friends in Florence and the surrounding communities. The funeral will be held from the family home at 10 o’clock Tuesday morning. Rev. James R. Burchfield officiating. Interment will be made in Highland cemetery.7 |
