She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Hays. Survivors include her husband, of the home; and a brother, Carl Bernard Brecheisen, Bartlesville, Okla. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, Hays; burial in Mount Allen Cemetery, Hays. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 20th and Pine, Hays. Memorials are suggested to the FHSU Foundation for the music or art departments in care of the funeral home.1 |

He is survived by five brothers; John Curtis (Judy), Muskogee, OK, Buford Curtis (Yvonne), Summertown, TN, Gary Curtis (Phyllis), Waverly, TN, Terry Curtis, Dickson, TN, and David Curtis (Sharon), McEwen, TN, three sisters; Elise Miller, Nashville, TN, Louise Curtis, McEwen, TN, and Sue Curtis, McEwen, TN, two sisters-in-law; Louise Cannon Curtis, McEwen, TN, and Joyce Curtis, McEwen, TN, and numerous nieces and nephews. Randolph enjoyed helping others and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen. Rev. John William Curtis, Sr. and Rev. Tony Curtis will be officiating. Interment will follow in the McKeel Cemetery in Waverly, TN. Occupation: Farmer and former Laborer for Conalco in New Johnsonville, TN Organizations: Member of McEwen High School Class of 1958, Draughon's Business College in Nashville, TN, former member of Aluminum Workers Local Union.1 |

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Curtis Chapel Church with Rev. Doss Hatcher of McEwen officiating. Burial was in the Curtis Chapel Cemetery with Luff-Bowen Co., in charge. A native of Humphreys County, he was a son of the late Josh and Elizabeth Patrick Curtis and had been a member of the Mt. Zion church for a number of years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Bateman Curtis and three daughters, Mrs. Bailey Franklin of Nashville, Mrs. Ross Brothers of Clarksville and Mrs. C.W. Emmett of Waverly; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.9 |

Obit | Daisy's obituary was published in the Unknown Newspaper on circa 30 December 1956: Daisy Jordon Curtis, 76, died Friday morning, Dec. 28, 1956 at her homenear Erin. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. December 29th at the Griffin Chapel Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Fred Agee officiated, assist by Rev. Guin Nolen. Burial was in the Hudson Cemetery. Mrs. Curtis was a resident of Houston County, daughter of the late John and Nancy Hudson Jordan. She was married to Cyrus Curtis, who preceded her in death in November 1944. Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Hubert Rye and Mrs. George Nolen Jr., both of Erin. One son, Jessie Curtis of Nashville. Three sisters: Miss Sarah Jordan of Erin, Mrs. J.E. Kent and Mrs. H.W. Curtis, both of MdEwen. Eight grand children.1 |
