Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. Robin Redd officiating. Burial will be in Cerulean Cemetery, Trigg County. Visitation will be from noon Wednesday until time for the service. A native of Kent County, Ontario, Canada, she was born June 7, 1928, the daughter of the late Edgar Thomas and Lillian Mae Jones Redd. She was retired from the Simmons Mattress Co., Munster, Ind. She was a member of the dartball team and had been team captain. She was a member of the State Street Baptist Church in Hammond. Her husband, Archie Dell Curtis, preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Michael L. Curtis, Hammond and two sisters, Hazel Wadlington, Cadiz, and Lois Bullock, Central City. She was a retired employee of State Farm Insurance Cos. and a retired bailiff at the DeWitt County Courthouse. She was a member of Clinton United Methodist Church and Myrtle Chapter Order of Eastern Star.1 |
