Funeral servcies will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow for Sylvester W. Caw, 64, retired policeman, who died Wednesday night at his home, 3602 Eleventh street northwest, after a brief illness. Caw, who joined the police force after service in the Army, retired last June. He patrolled a beat in the vicinity of Ninth street and New York avenue northwest, and also served on the mounted force.
He is survived by two daughters, Miss Gladys Caw and Mrs. Ralph W. Van Fossen, of Kensington, Md., and a son, Joseph W., of the police bureau of identification. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery.⁹

Nona Caw was one of the first graduates of Faribault School for the Blind. She had many interests such as weaving, sewing, and leather work. Her primary interest however, was playing and teaching music. She taught piano until 1952. She also organized and conducted the Methodist Men's choir.
Because of her many achievements she was featured in one of "Ripley's, Believe it or Not", publications, entitled "The Blind Pianist". June 24, 1940.
She was buried in Chatfield Cemetery, Minnesota.³
