Both were born in Glouster, OH, Athens County, and they moved to Barberton 42 years ago. Mr. Bailey was a boring mill operator at the Babcock & Wilcox Co., retiring in 1963 with 16 years service. His hobbies are gardening, fishing, hunting and raising rabbits. Mrs. Bailey worked at the Seiberling Rubber Co. as a supervisor in the Boat Department during World War II, and worked in the Tube & Tire Department. She retired in June 1959 with 26 years services. She is a member of the Seiberling Twenty-Five Year Club, Moore memorial United Methodist Church and her hobbies are gardening and crocheting afghans and bed spreads. They have three children: Mrs. Laura Witchey and Seldon Bailey, both of Norton, and William Bailey of Barberton. There are eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Their motto for a happy marriage is "Forgive and Forget." |
