He was a retired employee of Pennsylvania Glass Sand Corporation; a member of Berkeley Springs Presbyterian Church, where he served as an elder.
He is survived by his wife, the former Vera Young; one son, the Rev. Phillip E. Unger of Roanoke Rapids, N.C; one brother, Lester C. Unger of Berkeley Springs, and one sister, Mrs. Esther Barney, Berkeley Springs. The body is at the Johnson Funeral Home for services - Thursday, at 3:00 p.m., conducted by his pastor, the Rev. Thomas W. Jackson, with interment to be in Greenway Cemetery.1

Johnson; also by two brothers, two sisters, and eight grandchildren. Services were held from the Parks Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon, with Rev. J.P. Sheesley, pastor of Trinity E.U.B. Church, officiating. Burial was in Michaels Cemetery.8

Henry H. Dodson died Saturday night, September 19, at his home on Laurel Avenue. Born in Everett, Pa., November 11, 1889, son of the late David and Agnes Lamberson Dodson, he was a retired employee of the Pennsylvania Glass Sand Corporation. He was a veteran of World War I and was active in the Moose Lodge, American Legion and attended the Berkeley Springs Presbyterian Church. His wife, Mrs. Lula Grace Johnson Dodson died October 10, 1950.
Surviving are seven sons, James, Pasadena, Md; Raymond, Paul and Henry J., all of Berkeley Springs; Vernon, with the U.S. Army in Vietnam; Ralph, Jacksonville, S.C; Home, Martinsburg; one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Virginia) VanGosen, Berkeley Springs; one brother, Frank Dodson, Everett; 21 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services were conducted Wednesday, September 23, at the Helsley Funeral Home by the Rev. Thomas W. Jackson. Interment was in the Greenway Cemetery.5

William N. Johnson, 61, died at Memorial Hospital Friday morning, May 28, where he had been suffering from complications. He had been ill health for several years. He was a native of this county, a son of the late Eldridge and Emmaline Waugh Johnson, and lived his entire life in this county. He was a member of the Methodist Church and of the Berkeley Springs Junior Order.
Surviving are his widow, the former, Miss Ethel Michael, three daughters, Mrs. Wilford Davis, Washington, D.C; Mrs. Roy Harden, Martinsburg and Mrs. Louise Mick, Elcor, Minn., three brothers, Boyd, Charles and Foster, all of this county and three sisters, Mrs. Henry Dodson, Berkeley Springs; Miss Sadie Johnson, Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Bessie Boyd, Hagerstown, Md. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Hunter Funeral Home with the Revs. T.W. Sunderland, of the Methodist Church and Calvin Harden, of Blairton, officiating. Bearers were Harry VanGosen, L.B. Foutz, L. B. Michael, A.B. Dyche, O.E. Widmyer and J.B. Ayers.6

Willard Elroy Johnson, of Berkeley Springs, died Saturday evening, January 16, in the Winchester Memorial Hospital, Winchester, VA., where he had been a patient for a week. A former employee of the Pennsylvania Glass Sand Corporation, he was born in Morgan County, June 6, 1908, son of the late Charles H. and Grace Michael Johnson. He was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Della Mae Clark Johnson; two sons, Bernard and Herbert Johnson, both of Berkeley Springs; one foster-daughter, Mrs. Peggy Peck, Berkeley Springs, and six grandchildren. Services were conducted Wednesday, January 20, at the Helsley Funeral Home by the Rev. James A. Rhoads. Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Spohrs Cross Roads.7

He was a former employee of the Pennsylvania Glass Sand Corporation and was a member of First Evangelical United Brethren Church.
Surviving are his widow, Pearl (Dailey) Johnson; two foster sons, Ralph Everhart and Kenneth Harmon, both at home, and two brothers, Willard Johnson, Berkeley Springs, and Glenn Johnson, Great Cacapon. The body was removed from the Parks-Johnson Funeral Home for services conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Dr. H.H. Rowland, retired Methodist pastor. Burial was in Michael Cemetery.4
