The funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Garrett Funerals and Cremations chapel with visitation one hour prior to the services. Tilda Chandler Curtis, 85, of 108 Dolan Rd., Waynesville, died Thursday March 5, 1981 in the Waynesville hospital after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Tom and Rebecca Webb Chandler and wife of Milas Curtis, who died in 1937. Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Curley Stamey and
Grace Smathers of Waynesville and Tenny Smathers of Washington; two stepchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Crawford Funeral Chapel, Waynesville, the Reverend Ricky Mehaffey officiating. She was buried in Greenhill Cemetery, Section #5.⁵
