Obit | Bobbie Catherine's obituary was published in the Enterprise Mountaineer on 18 February 2006: CLYDE ~ Bobbie Curtis, 79, passed away Sunday, Feb.12, 2006, at the Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was born Dec. 28, 1926, to the Late Matt R. and Margie McClure Caldwell. She retired from Dayco and was a volunteer at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the Fincher's Chapel United Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Waynesville Post 5202. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce V. Curtis; one son, Johnny Ray Curtis; and one sister, Vivian Summey. She is survived by her son Jerry D. Caldwell of Clyde; brother, Earl Caldwell of Clyde; and sister, Faustina Johnson of Atlanta. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive her. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fincher's Chapel Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the services at the cemetery. The Rev. Kitty Crain will officiate.3 |
