Also surviving are a brother, Phil Nye and his wife, Polly of Charlotte, NC, three grandchildren and one great grandson. Graveside services are planned for 2:30 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2014 at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ron Helms officiating. McEwen Funeral Service-Derita Chapel is handling the services.
