Preceding in death with his first wife were his parents and three brothers, Burdette, Chester and Richard GARNER. Services were April 21 at First Baptist Church, Rolla, Mo. Mr. Garner was a member of the Church of the Brethren of Walnut and also attended the Assembly of God Church of Plymouth. He was a member of the Lions Club of Argos. Survivors are his wife, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Mabel IRWIN, R.R. 3, Argos and Mrs. Hazel WINTERROWD, R.R. 2, Rochester; two sons, Merrit [GARNER], Argos, and Jack [GARNER], Lapaz; sixteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Gertie KENNELL, and Mrs. Gladys CASTLEMAN, both of Rochester, and Mrs. Goldie ZANHIZER, Oceanside, Cal., and a brother, Clyde [GARNER], Kewanna. final rites will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Grossman funeral home, Argos. The Revs. William VanWINKLE of Plymouth and Roy RICHEY of Walnut will officiate. Burial will be in the Maple Grove cemetery, Argos. Friends may call at the funeral home.2 |
