He was a lifetime Kingman resident. He was a member of Kingman Christian Church where he had been deacon, elder, church treasurer, board chairman and Sunday school superintendent for many years. He also was a member of Masonic Lodge and Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include his widow, Stella; a son, Weldon Jr; Minneapolis, Minn; two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Marlier, Wichita, and Mrs. Joan Shufelberger, Topeka; two brothers, Mack, Kingman, and Adrain, Midland, Tex; and two sisters, Mrs. Laveta Craig, Denver, and Mrs. LaRene Paschal, Corona, Calif. A memorial has been established with Kingman Christian Church. Livingston Mortuary has charge.4 |

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Christian Union Cemetery with Rev. Carl Greek, pastor of the Auburn Church of the Nazarene, officiating. The family has requested preferred memorials to the Cancer Society. Mrs. Ranney was born May 25, 1899, in Garrett to Frank and Hattie (Cobie) Reeves. She married Lloyd Ranney in Angola on May 25, 1955. He preceded her in death on Jan. 16 of this year. Survivors include three nephews, Wilbur Kruger, Garrett, Floyd Kruger, Kendallville; and Kenneth Kruger, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.1 |
